Pathlight didn't start in a tech company. It started with a sheet of card, some sticky dots, and a Rainbows leader who deserved something better.
A local Rainbows leader had built something clever out of necessity — a physical board with name cards for each child, coloured dot stickers for awards, and sticky notes for allergy reminders. Cards shuffled between age columns as children had birthdays.
It worked. But it was fragile. Cards went missing. Stickers fell off. Her co-leader couldn't see it from home. New helpers had no idea who had a nut allergy or who was still on the waiting list.
She didn't need a complicated system. She needed that same board — on her phone, synced to her whole team, always up to date.
The original board → Pathlight
What we believe"Every child's achievement deserves to be seen and celebrated. Leaders deserve tools that help them do that."
If something takes more than 30 seconds to figure out, we've failed. Every feature should be obvious the first time you see it.
We handle children's personal data with the strongest security, storing the minimum necessary.
Leaders give their time for free. Our pricing, design, and every product decision reflects that. We're on their side.
